CAU Audimax

The German Neutron Scattering Conference 2016 will take place in the Auditorium Maximum of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.

The Audimax can be found on the campus map in the lower right corner, at the crossing Olshausenstraße / Westring.

How to get there

By plane
From Hamburg airport it is most convenient to take the shuttle service „KielExx“ or the airport bus „Kielius“. The KielExx should be reserved (it rooms 6 to 8 persons), and it leaves at fixed times every 30 minutes. It takes about 70 minutes to drive to your own destination in Kiel that way, see time table). The Kielius bus takes 90 minutes and runs hourly to the train station in Kiel, see time table.

By train
From Kiel main station (Hauptbahnhof) to Audimax
It takes about 35 to 40 minutes to walk.
If yout ake the cab, it takes 10 minutes to drive
By bus, there are the lines 61, 62, 50 and 81 to the bus stop "Universität" in front of the Audimax. A bit further away is the stop "Universität/Westring" (91/92). It takes 17 to 20 minutes by bus.

By car
Follow the signs "Universität". The Audimax is on the crossing Westring / Olshausenstraße. The are parking spaces along the Olshausenstraße.
