Infrastructure and Instrumentation:

The department supports the KFN in all concerns
which regard the consulting topics 1-4 in the statutes:
Preparation of recommentdations of the KFN concerning the infrastructure and instrumentation at national and international sources in contact with the users and instrument responsibles for example by
  • accompanying Collective Research Instruments("Verbundforschungsinstrumente") ;
  • assessing demand for instrumentation / complementation;
  • information about advances in instrumentation also at international sources.

Public Relations and Reach Out:

The department supports the KFN in all concerns
which regard the consulting topics 9 and 10 in the statutes:
Information of the user community and the broad public e.g. by
  • giving hints about conferences, meetings, schools, Collective Research meetings, calendar of events;
  • promoting exchange of information;
  • designing the homepage in close cooperation with the department "Support and Outreach"
