German Neutron Scattering Conference

Neutron researchers in Germany meet every second year, in turn at the German Neutron Scattering Conference (DN) and at the German Conference for Research with Synchrotron Radiation, Neutrons and Ion Beams at Large Facilities (SNI). Since its foundation in 1987, the KFN has initiated conferences in the context of joint research ("Verbundtreffen"). In 1995, the format was changed to the German Neutron Scattering Conference, a meeting for all German neutron researchers. In 2006, The SNI was called into life, a common event in the tradition of the former status seminars.
