[kfn-info] Submit your abstract for the German Neutron Scattering Conference until Saturday!

KFN email newsletter on August 12, 2020

Dear friends of research with neutrons,

We would like to remind you again that this week (until Saturday, August 15,
2020) abstracts can be submitted for the German Neutron Scattering Conference
(DN2020). As usual, we want it to be an exciting event for all those who use
neutrons or plan to do so. The DN2020 (Dec. 09-10, 2020) will take place
directly after the MLZ user meeting (Dec. 08-09, 2020) in Garching, with a
joint poster session.

More information can be found on the conference homepage:
https://indico.frm2.tum.de/e/um-2020-dn

The organisers are currently discussing the "how to". It would be good to meet
everyone in person, but some colleagues will have difficulties travelling and
it is not yet clear whether there will be a limit to the number of
participants at the venue. Therefore a mixture of live and online
presentations is planned. Due to possible changes at short notice, you should
carefully check the cancellation conditions (hotel, flights) of a reservation.

With kind regards,

Astrid Schneidewind, KFN chair
Karin Griewatsch, KFN public relations and webmaster
