The Instrumentation Prize will be awarded for the first time in 2022 for outstanding work leading to method development or significant improvements of neutron-based instruments (e.g. neutron transport, energy resolution, detection, etc.). The prize is funded equally by the centres Hereon, HZB, FRM II, JCNS and ILL.

 

The 2022 award winner is Dr Artur Glavic. The award is in recognition of his significant contribution to the development and construction of novel neutron reflectometers, which can be used for studies of magnetic systems, among other things. [more]
