This is what I would advocate for in the KFSI:

  • Simulation of physical and chemical modifications of materials through interaction with charged particles.
  • Further development of simulation methods for particle-based techniques in dialogue with user groups from modelling and applications
  • Communicate the great potential of particle-based methods for the modification and analysis of materials for the development of new user groups.
