Deep Learning School "Basic Concepts"

ErUM-Data-Hub and DIG-UM are organising the first Deep Learning School at Landhaus Nordhelle in Meinerzhagen. During four days, there will be intensive courses on Neural Network Building Blocks, Mastering Model Building, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks and Introspection of Neural Networks. We look forward to many personal encounters at the 5th Conference on Research with Synchrotron Radiation, Neutrons and Ion Beams at Large Facilities from 05-07 September 2022 in Berlin. The KFN, KFS and KFSI committees stand for a diverse, up-to-date and technically excellent programme. Abstracts can be submitted in March and April. The event will be rounded off by a reception and a public lecture. We would also like to encourage students who have not yet started their doctoral studies to take part in the conference and to exchange ideas and get inspired. Result of the election of the new Committee Research on Condensed Matter with Nuclear Probes and Ion Beams (2021-2024)
These are the members that were elected into of the new KFSI: Prof. Dr. Günther Dollinger, Dr. Stefan Facsko, Dr. Daniel Severin, Prof. Dr. Anton Wallner, Prof. Dr. Markus Bender and Dr. Silke Merchel. We thank all voters for the high turnout (80%). The constituent meeting is planned for September / October. [election protocol] |
