Current research focus

  • Solid state physics, physics of quantum materials
  • Novel collective states of correlated electrons
  • Structural and electronic properties
  • Application and development of modern spectroscopy and diffraction methods

In the KFS, I would stand up for:

  • Promotion of cooperation with universities and support of young scientists for SR and FEL research
  • Discussions on future perspectives with users: New research opportunities at the latest generation of X-ray sources. What comes next?
  • Discussion about chances and challenges of digitization for user operation at SR and FEL facilities. Ways for Open Science.
