  • Physics and chemistry of geomaterials under geologically relevant conditions
  •  Coordination chemistry in silicate melts and aqueous fluids
  • Redox processes in geological systems
  • Local, electronic structure and spin states under extreme conditions

  • Method development of X-ray spectroscopy, especially for geoscientific questions
 

In the KFS, I will stand up for:

 

  • Promotion of young scientists
  • Further development of photon sources for an interdisciplinary user community
  •  Improving data management and data analysis, promoting cross-source approaches
