Insight into research, contacts and Baltic beaches: RACIRI Summer School 2019, Application deadline is on May 10, 2019 (May 2, 2019)

KFS newsletter on May 2, 2019

Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the RACIRI Summer School 2019, that takes place in the beginning of August in Svetlogorsk near Kaliningrad. Past years have shown that this is a very rewarding event.

The school addresses mainly PhD students, master (diploma) students in their final research year, and young postdoctoral  researchers from institutions in Germany, Sweden and Russia, who want to use synchrotron radiation or neutrons.

The focal theme is "Structure,  Real-Time  Dynamics  and Processes in Complex Systems" this year.

Travel, accommodation and food is free, since there are 20 full stipends for successful applicants from Germany.

Top-level speakers (http://www.raciri.org/programme_2019/), international contacts and summer feeling at the Baltic Sea beach are some of the reasons to apply for this school.

The school is supported by both KFS and KFN and we strongly encourage groups to send students.
There is also a poster which can be printed and put up in your institution
(http://www.raciri.org/sites/site_raciri/content/e203195/e300315/RACIRI2019Plakat.pdf).

There is more information at http://www.raciri.org

Application deadline is on May 10, 2019.

With kind regards,

Bridget Murphy, KFS chair
