Dear colleagues,

Today we have three topics for you, and as usual a few selected dates. We wish you nice summer weeks despite the heat!

> Deep Learning School "Basic Concepts"
08-12 August 2022, Meinerzhagen. Registration until 25 July 2022

ErUM-Data-Hub and DIG-UM are organising the first Deep Learning School at Landhaus Nordhelle in Meinerzhagen. During four days, there will be intensive courses on Neural Network Building Blocks, Mastering Model Building, Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks and Introspection of Neural Networks. The workshop is aimed at beginners from all ErUM communities who have a basic knowledge of physics. Registration deadline is 25 July 2022.

> DAPHNE4NFDI: Job offers and Workshops

DAPHNE4NFDI is aimed at users of data from photon and neutron experiments. The development of user-oriented data solutions for scientific experiments is the focus of the initiative. The events relevant for neutron and synchrotron users are summarised in a list on the DAPHNE homepage and are constantly updated. We call on you to get involved in the working groups - this is the only way to have an active influence. Internal workshops on ELN, repositories and metadata are planned for the autumn; if you are interested, please contact the leaders of the working groups or send an email to
