[kfs-waehler] KFS election: Please tell your colleagues!

KFS email newsletter on August 21, 2020

Dear users of synchrotron radiation,

You are registered as eligible to vote for the Committee Research with Synchrotron Radiation. Please contact us if you are no longer working with synchrotron radiation (see "Unsubscription" below)!

In October, a new committee for research with synchrotron radiation (KFS, see https://www.sni-portal.de/kfs) will be elected.

Will you and your colleagues take part?

This election fulfils three tasks:

- It is the "democratic" legitimation of the KFS and thus gives weight to the KFS in the political discussion
- It gives users the opportunity to choose who will represent their interests
- The number of registered voters and the level of voter turnout are often used as indicators for the research area

That is why we ask for your help in the run-up to the election:

- Please forward this e-mail to colleagues who have not been working with synchrotron radiation for a long time and therefore might not have registered yet
- Be sure to vote in the October elections
- Please unsubscribe if are not eligible to vote any more (see below ho to unsubscribe)
